New Business Applications and supporting documentation should be sent to Production. Please be sure to include all premium down payment remittance.
Policy Changes -
For policy changes a Policy Change Request Form should be sent to Production. We would prefer that you use our Request for Policy Change (RPC) form located in the Forms section on this page to ensure the changes are processed as accurately as possible. You may also utilize the Accord Endorsement Request form or a change request form utilized by your office. The change request form must contain a clear description of all the changes to the policy and all supporting documentation should be sent along with the form. We can not accept hand written letters requesting changes.

To make an electronic payment for your customer, call 800-520-8571. We accept check, debit card or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express). You must disclose to the customer that the payment will be processed electronically.
The same phone number will provide you with billing information, last payment made, policy balance, and the mailing address for payments.
Note: Down payments can not be made using the above number or online.

Liberty complies with the pre-insurance inspection requirements and waivers detailed in the Massachusetts Private Passenger Automobile Insurance Manual.
MA Pre-Insurance Inspection Procedures
If a new business applicant’s prior policy had physical damage coverage and was non-renewed and the producer of record for the prior policy was an Exclusive Representative Producer on the effective date of that policy, or the prior policy had physical damage coverage and was ceded to CAR, during the transition year which ends March 31, 2010 the pre-insurance inspection requirement will be waived.

Under MAIP Rule 21, policies can be paid in full or over a maximum of 10 monthly installments with a required down payment of 25% of total annual MAIP premium for new business.
If the new business applicant’s prior policy was non-renewed and the producer of record for the prior policy was an Exclusive Representative Producer on the effective date of that policy, or the prior policy was ceded to CAR, provided that there is no prior premium owed and the applicant is otherwise eligible for MAIP placement, during the transition year which ends March 31, 2010 the down payment may be calculated as 20% of the MAIP premium.
Minimum installment amount is $30.00.
Policies that are premium financed or customers that have been cancelled for non-payment will require 100% of the total annual MAIP premium.
If your customer would like EFT billing, they may sign up for this bill method when they receive their first direct bill.
Installment Fees
Each installment will include a $6.00 installment fee.
Returned check fee is $25.
A $25 Statutory Notice of Cancellation Fee will be applied if a non-payment cancellation notice is issued. This fee will be included in the next bill issued after the fee has been applied.
